"organized central mass with LED lights” (2019) is an extension of the “ptsd (2016-2019)" series. It points to a specific personal event as an anecdote to the fiasco which was the US led Iraq War. This installation reflects Operation Iraqi Children - a military effort to “win hearts and minds” through the distribution of stuffed teddy bears to Iraqi children paradoxically as entire cities within the region were being wiped from the map…This installation also reflects on western fantasies of a proper childhood in spite of the perpetual destruction of entire communities through forever wars.
